Finding wellness through alternative therapies
If you have been on the hunt for getting your life back, restoring wellness, and reversing disease, then you have no doubt typed some pretty desperate searches into google and hoped for some results.
I myself have been hunting for the elusive “cure” to my autoimmunity (and chronic lyme) for years now and in the process I have come across (and tried) many different kinds of therapies. Some of which offer temporary relief and others that have had more of a lasting effect. I’ve spent probably 10’s of thousands of dollars on experimental therapies and continue to try cutting edge and ancient healing modalities in order to restore my wellness and take back what was once mine.
However, I realize that my life will probably never be the same as the best we can do with autoimmunity and other chronic conditions with no known “cures” is to put them into remission and keep them at bay. But, I do believe that there are therapies out there that when combined with the right diet and lifestyle can rapidly change your health for the better.
So please join me on this journey to find and try new, ancient, expensive, free, tested, or experimental therapies which have the healing power to restore your health and help you take your life back.
For therapies that I will be trying first hand I typically use them or try them for at least a month before I will make my final assessment on whether I think they would be helpful to pursue. Much like my food and supplementation reviews I will give some overall conclusions about the therapy itself, but will leave off any kind of direct start rating or scoring as I think each person’s body will respond differently to some of the modalities reviewed. Keep in mind that typically in health there are no true “silver bullets” other than making good and healthy decisions for your body day in and day out. BUT, certain therapies can be a catalyst and the missing piece of the puzzle in breakthrough treatment of stubborn and chronic disease.
